I feel as though I have developed at every stage throughout this module. When it first began, my first impressions of the work was that it would be a monumental task to complete a full blog and all the tasks that were involved. I did not realise all the work that went into building a website and creating extensive and detail blog posts. Before I could even begin I had to learn to use new technology which can always be tricky.

After pitching my initial ideas to the class, I learned a lot and it gave me a great deal to reflect on and consider. My feedback at that time was that I had promising ideas as a starting point however I needed to start thinking a lot deeper and develop a concise plan before adding more to my blog. This gave me time to pause and work on what I had already completed before adding more.

I found it quite difficult to pitch to the class, when reflecting on my performance on the class blog, I considered that although I covered nearly all the bases and sections, I could have delved more into my ideas and structure my presentation slightly better. I was incredibly nervous, and I feel I let my nerves get the better of me that day. Since working on presentation skills in class I know when I speak in front of the class and present again, I will manage it a lot better.

I think continuous feedback over the course of the semester has allowed me to reflect at every stage and take a second look at decisions I have made. I have greatly challenged myself by holding myself to high standards. When I look at my work and realise, I can do something better I allowed myself to either deeply edit my blog posts or sometimes even delete them and restart. Writing a clear plan gave me time frames and helped me manage my time in an organised and efficient way. This time management helped me to organise my time and not get too stressed. Completing deadlines before they are due leaves me feeling relaxed and accomplished.

Studying this module has developed my current skills but also given me new ones. For example, before this semester I had never interviewed someone or attempted to make a podcast episode. This is one of the many hurdles I have faced in my blog journey however I am aware it will help me greatly as I continue studying this course.

In addition, I have learnt to use new websites. I firstly used WordPress and eventually decided to change to Wix. This was a big decision as I had done so much of my blog on the first site however it is the best decision I have made in this entire process. Using both websites started as a huge challenge but now I can confidently use Wix, and I wish I had used that site earlier in my creation of my blog.
