Are people truly manipulated by the media? Are they easily misinformed? After asking myself these questions, I wanted to research and discover the seriousness of misinformation to educate the public on what misinformation really is.

When researching how18-24 year old Brits consume the news, a vast majority is taken from social media. It has been said that much of the facts and news on social media sites can either be fake or not entirely accurate.

The place place to start your research, is to find out how misinformation is created.

Where does it come from? Education is the first step to highlight the damaging effects of misinformation.

There are many simple solutions to not only avoid getting misinformed, but also to stop the spread of fake information before it spirals out of control.
